Je moet het leven aanstaren! ‘Ligt het licht ook daar ónder,’ vraagt hij zich af, ‘wacht het mee?’ En dan, na een witregel: ‘in slib, droesem, drek?’ In Kruipruimte maak je mee hoe een dichter zijn taal boetseert, sterk vervuld van de idee van begin, van ontstaan, van schepping... alsof ze voor het eerst klinken, pure adem, pure klank, wachtend op betekenis.
