The National accounts represent the official statistical review of the Dutch economy. National income, economic growth, government deficit or surplus and employment are examples of important data in this publication. Concepts and classifications of the National accounts are standardised at the world level and are laid down in international guidelines which makes it possible to compare between countries. The appendix about the Dutch State interventions in the financial markets, with a description of the consequences of these interventions for government debt and government deficit, has been updated.
