Via 125 cartoons is dit boek de neerslag van hoe Belgische cartoonisten meeleven met al wie in eigen land en overal ter wereld slachtoffer is van discriminatie, achterstelling, racisme, kolonialisme en onderdrukking.

The Belgian socialist trade union ABVV/FGTB, in collaboration with Press Cartoon Belgium, has launched an award for cartoons on the theme of solidarity and resistance. The 125 cartoons in this book show how the finest Belgian cartoonists have responded to the oppression of workers and the unemployed, discrimination, asylum seekers, refugees, colonialism, racism and restrictions on trade union freedoms in their own country and throughout the world.
