Op 1 februari keken ruim 2,5 miljoen mensen naar de live-uitzending van de dankbetuiging voor Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid Prinses Beatrix. Het concert, samengesteld door hoboïst en artistiek leider Bart Schneemann, werd gegeven door het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble met medewerking van het Nederlands Dans Theater en Corpus Acrobatics, en werd gepresenteerd door Chantal Janzen. Mede naar aanleiding van de vele enthousiaste reacties op dit muzikale spektakel hebben het Nationaal Comité Inhuldiging en het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble besloten de live-registratie vanuit Ahoy uit te brengen op DVD. Op verzoek van Prinses Beatrix gaat de opbrengst van deze DVD naar het Prinses Beatrix Spierfonds.

On February 1st almost 2.5 million people watched the live broadcast of the concert in which the Dutch gave their gratitude to the Royal Majesty Princess Beatrix. The Concert was programmed by Bart Schneemann (artistic leader of the NBE) and given by the Netherlands Wind Ensemble with the participation of Nederlands Dans Theater and Corpus Arcobatics, and was hosted by Chantal Janzen. Partly in response to many enthusiastic reations, the National Comittee inauguration and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble decided to release this musical spectale on DVD. All gains from this memorable and special DVD will go to the Prinses Beatrix spierfonds (A charity organization for people with muscle deseases).
