Kira, a Government trained hunter and her best friend Eleanor's lives get turned upside down when after a traumatizing experience Eleanor becomes one of the things Kira has to hunt: a werewolf.

"I'm waiting," Eleanor said and let her go.
"I am a hunter," Kira whispered to herself and laid
the silver knife against her friend's chest.

Eleanor changes, but so does Kira. The two go through an emotional journey, filled with arguments, fights, love and eventually ending up in a war between The Government and the supernatural that has been going on for decades.
