This book will contain full page photographs of over two hundred species of birds taken in Aruba's wildlife. For scientific and education purposes a checklist is taken up at the end of the book containing the names of all bird species that can be found in Aruba. This will be done in four languages: English, Papiamento, Dutch and Latin (scientific name). In addition and where possible, the status (resident, migrant, vagrant, introduced) and abundance (common, fairly common, uncommon, scarce and rare) of the particular bird species will be added to the checklist.
