Society in its 21st century shape is an improvising one: driven by incidents and impulses, with actors engaging in problem-solving practices, freely dealing with institutional logics and opportunities.Is it possible to improve improvisation from a normative perspective? In what way do 'crafting communities' contribute to this public challenge? And to that extent do new forms of governance emerge from these improvising and crafting practices?
