The aim of the book is the development of skills in independent reading / translation into Russian of English scientific texts to get a deeper insight into the information they convey. The authors propose an algorithm of interpreting and analyzing the grammatical structures that present particular difficulties in their identifying, understanding and translating into Russian. The systemic approach to participial, gerundial and infinitival constructions greatly facilitates the process of learning.
