Visual artist Eveline Visser (b. 1949) lives and works in the M4H District of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Her works consists of objects, dioramas, panoramas, show boxes and painted interior pieces in which the audience can walk or have an interactive experience. In this extensive monograph, designed by graphic designer Steffen Maas in close harmony with the artist, Visser also presents her latest work 'Good Over Evil' that explores future alternatives to Rotterdam's Petrochemical and industrial landscape. Her work reimagines the Maasvlakte through organic settlements built from fungal structures. Visser had her education at Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Her work is part of major collections such as Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, the Caldic Collections, ABN AMRO Art Collection, Museum Voorlinden. She was awarded the Hendrik Chabot Prize Rotterdam in 2022.
