Een fotoboek.Hendrik van Winkoop, born on February 3, 1862, in Nijkerk, becameknown both as the owner of the clothing store Van Winkoop & Schlüterin Utrecht and as a highly active and enterprising photographer. Hisphotographic work was widely admired and broadly published. The trio collaborated for many years in the fieldof stereophotography. Van Albada served as the technician, inventor, and developer of 'the best' photographic system for capturing andviewing stereo images. Van Winkoop and Duuring contributed asadvisors and photographers. Van Winkoop created his most beautiful orthostereoscopic stereoimages in the mountains - particularly in Switzerland, France and Italy -on 9x13 or 9x14 cm format. Viewed through a quality stereoscope, theyprovide a lifelike image of the mountain landscapes Van Winkoop wasso passionate about, more than a century ago.
