About the book/thesis: Description of in vitro and in vivo experiment using human adult mesenchymal stem cells in skeletal muscle regeneration.

About the Author: Anabel S. de la Garza-Rodea was born on September 30th, 1979 in Mexico city. She obtained the Medical doctor degree from UNAM 1998-2004. In those years she was involved Antropology and Surgery department in research and teaching as assistant of professors in the Medicine Faculty of UNAM. In 2004 and 2005 she participated in different projects related to angiogenesis with murine and canine models using mononuclear cells isolated from bone marrow at the CMN "20 de Noviembre", Mexico city. In 2011 she obtained PhD degree after being working in tissue regeneration (skeletal muscle) with stem cells at the Molecular Cell Biology Department of the Leiden University Medical Center, Leiden, the Netherlands. Currently she continue working as post doc fellow on some of her research projects at the LUMC .
