It looks as if the international trade still has got to get used to this surprising and intrigueing transport-modality. The fact that the use of it is growing and is, however, a pleasant development. I have tried to – once more – make the pros and cons clear in plain language. During a presentation with a company I heard someone say…..we really would like to but our service-provider doesn’t want to go that far. When I asked why I didn’t get an answer. Later on I happened to hear what it was that made him so stubborn. They were not at all committed to that service-provider, but just didn’t want to take it all in their own hands because they didn’t know what they were letting themselves into. I once more emphasize therefore that this transport-modality will only entail advantages. Who wouldn’t recommend to proceed to have to LOAD AND UNLOAD LESS and still be able to get where you want to be, ONE POINT TO ADDRESS TO AND NOT TWO OR EVEN THREE, WINNING TRANSIT-TIME, LESS CHANCE OF DAMAGE etc. ? So let me advice you emphatically…JUST DO it !!! Piet Roos
