'New Creative Class and Brief Lives' is the biography of a British pilot and writer. In the early nineties he flew for Cathay Pacific Airways, flying their Boeing 747-400 from Hong Kong to all cosmopolitan cities worldwide. For 30 years he combined a successful career as a pilot with a modest writers vocation. From 1967 to 1997 he wrote long interesting letters to the home front. This biography is chiefly a bundling of quotations from the letters written to and between an international group of travel loving pen friends. With mutual consent from all those involved biographer Chantal Ruisseau decided to digitalise most of all letters.
