Think of the last presentation you witnessed. Chances are that it was not good. And yet, the audience clapped, the speaker left the stage and there it was; “a big success”. All of us get to listen to plenty of bad presentations and still we clap because we’ve come to accept that there is no other way. Why most theory on public speaking is bad?These publications on how to be a better public speaker focus on theory and forget that you are only human and we humans have the attention span of a Guinea pig; we like simple and clear messages.
