Carrie lives with her two aunts. But when they’re found dead she knows it’s time to run, before the rest of the family comes after her. Together with her best friend, she leaves everything behind. To make a new beginning Angel has no purpose in life until he lays his eyes on Carrie. But she is determined to keep him at a distance. Angel is used to that reaction from humans. It’s as if their instincts warn them for vampires. But he can’t see a future without this human female in it and therefore can’t give up.
