"During the first Lockdown I lost my "Daytime Job", so I was forced to breathe new life into my own multimedia business. The timing could not have been worse. I started studying and got my micro Masters Integrated Digital Media at New York University. I designed an application as a graduation project. I made a movie related to that application because I found it fascinating. I was inspired by it. My short film relates to the application called Taro named after the famous Tarot games. Cards such as artefacts or "remixed" objects as part of a new goal in life while touching topics such as racism and homophobia. It is mysticism, magical.The use of this app illustrated the magic with way cool playing cards and Instagram filters. Which I have applied to toys such as Barbie dolls and Lego figures from Bert and Ernie, we all know from Sesame Street.I have taken a coloured palette to the diversity of Barbies as the basis, I presented them as being "lesbian, transgender and activists".
