God loves the church! On the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit fired the disciples with enthusiasm. A movement that has no equal was launched on that day. And the same Holy Spirit and the same Jesus work in us as a church today, firing us also with enthusiasm to proclaim the great deeds of God, and to bring people the good news. The Church, the body of Christ is intended as a practical and spiritual guide for church leaders, evangelists and pastors longing for renewal in their churches and having a passion to reach out towards new communities in order to spread the gospel. The first part of this book is an explanation of what the Church is by nature, and what its core tasks are. The second part covers the mission of the Church. It inspires to evangelise, and to plant new churches which, by the grace of God, will flourish.Theological training has become more important than ever. Many pastors, ministers and evangelists lack access to true biblical education and therefore cannot gain sufficient knowledge and skills to lead their congregations or to teach and plant new churches. At NET Foundation it is our desire and mission to provide sound biblical training for Christian leaders, including for pastors, ministers and evangelists.visit our website:english.netfoundation.nl
