The Daily Future

As technology markets accelerate, the future appears increasingly difficult to grasp. ArtificialIntelligence dominates the public debate, while Quantum Computing, Synthetic Data, andOrganoid Intelligence already emerge on the horizon. Within this rapidly shifting landscape,designers are confronted with urgent questions: Are we moving toward utopian or dysto-pian digital futures? Who will shape the conditions under which these futures unfold, andwhat will this mean for the profession of the designer and creativity at large? These werequestions we, researchers and practice partners of the Network Applied Design Research(NADR), asked ourselves during the NADR knowledge cycle that started in 2025.
