'The Fallen Generals' analyzes the 1000 senior German officers who died in World War II and its aftermath. Between the years 1939 - 1945, over 3,500 officers wore the uniform of General (or Admiral) in one of the branches of the German Armed Forces: the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the SS. This book provides brief information about these 1000 officers, including dates of birth and death and the circumstances surrounding their death.
