As we flew over inland Australia, gazing down upon the arid ochre coloured landscape, criss-crossed by dirt tracks, we knew that our motorcycling dream had to be realized. Over the following months we motored through an ever changing landscape, camped out in the wild and got caught up with the Flying Doctors.

In Darwin we exchanged motorcycles for backpacks and set off on an overland journey back to Europe. Congestion in Indonesia, poignant pathways in the Indian Himalaya and overwhelming kindness in Pakistan. A volatile passage across Iran led us to within footsteps of Europe, in which our senses continued to be shocked.
