Three women arrive in Olhos d’Água with a dream: an old house beside a beautiful Portuguese tower, a future of wine, tapas, sunshine and paying guests. Then reality arrives. The tower is not theirs. The licences are a nightmare. The chef comes too early. The guests bring opinions, chaos and very little peace. What was meant to be a simple new beginning becomes a battle with builders, inspectors, paperwork, romance and the alarming habits of holidaymakers.Celia has the money, Vivienne has the taste, and Marianne has the common sense — but even that may not be enough.Warm, funny and full of Algarve sunshine, The Tower from Olhos d’Água is a story about friendship, second chances, late-life courage and discovering that the best adventures often begin with a terrible mistake.
