The purpose of this book is to show that travel and tourism aren't just unnecessary leisure activities which need to be reduced to prevent climate change.Traveling has allowed us to interact with different cultures and environments. Traveling has helped to create the safest multicultural society in human history.Before the Covid-19 pandemic tourism was the third biggest industry in the world. It provided more than 10% of the world population with a job, while its carbon footprint was only 8%.Now our World Economy is badly damaged by the Covid-19 pandemic, but tourism might be able to help. Tourism can be used as a sustainable tool to spread the wealth of stronger economies more equally among the people who live in weaker economies. When done right tourism will not only help to make our economy more equal and multiracial, but even greener!
