It has developed a form of citizen participation in environmental monitoring and action, which is bottom-up, participatory and empowering to the community: this is called citizen sensing. This book outlines a Making Sense Framework, technologies, tools and approaches to deliver campaigns for Citizen Sensing. It also presents case studies to give you a flavour of how they developed and why.
