Voices in Tourism Development creating spaces for tacit knowledge and innovation

Paperback346 pagina’sNederlands
The Center for Cross Cultural Understanding (CCCU) takes the opportunity in this publication to present its philosophies and its research agenda. The conference ‘Voices in Tourism Development – Creating Spaces for Tacit Knowledge and Innovation’ was held at the NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences on 3, 4 and 5 November 2008. The conference attracted a broad variety of participants - academics, artists, practitioners, storytellers – who had in common the awareness of hidden dimensions in solving problems and knowledge creation. The embracement of dissonance lead to intensive days where places of bother and ‘slow questions’ played their roles. This publication entails a selection of the papers presented. They offer a wide perspective on spaces and voices using international case studies.
