The authors
Niek Wijnands has held management and director's posts with small and medium-sized companies. In recent years as an interim manager. Currently he is also a partner in Pentapex Improvement Management and Van Ede & Partners.

Henk van den Boom has held management and director's posts at medium sized and major companies in the automotive industry. Currently he is managing director at Connexxion, the largest public transport company in The Netherlands.

They both have more than 25 years of experience in introducing lean in a wide range of industries.
